Boitumelo Khunou has 10 years’ experience in the education field. She began her career as a secondary school teacher and has since worked in various capacities as a teacher development consultant, reading consultant, teacher trainer, materials developer, and education project manager.
Boitumelo has a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from Rhodes University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with distinction from the University of South Africa, a Bachelor of Education Honours degree with distinction and a Master of Education degree with distinction from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Boitumelo is passionate about issues of equity, quality and inclusivity in education and is currently pursuing her PhD studies. In addition to serving as a Project Manager at IPASA, she also has a special interest in early literacy development and serves on the board of Book Dash, an organisation that drives a collective effort to increase book ownership amongst young children.
